Aaron Church passed his final ARE exam to become a licensed architect in the State of Missouri.  

Carmen Chee joined the American Cancer Society’s Emerging Leadership Council of St. Louis. The group provides service and fundraising activities for those facing a cancer diagnosis, while participating in professional development activities to further network within their career.  

Maggie Hayden attended the Association for Preservation Technology International (APTi) Annual Conference. “The Future of Tech” themed conference was hosted in Seattle, Washington October 9-14. 

Ashley Hoolihan is among Building Design + Construction’s elite 40 Under 40 class of 2023. Each year 40 architects, engineers, contractors and real estate developers under 40 years old are selected for their career achievements, passion for the profession, involvement with AEC industry organizations, and community service.  

Nandan Kelotra has been appointed co-chair for the Real Estate Diversity Initiative (REDI) and a committee member for the Young Leadership Group (YLG) for ULI St. Louis. 

Sam Lang was a guest critic at SIU Carbondale for the Senior Interior Design class’s final project/presentation.  

Charity Seyer joined the virtual “HVAC & Envelopes – Whole Building Performance Training Session” hosted by Association for Preservation Technology International.  

James Sgroi passed his LEED Green Associate exam.  

Amanda Truemper authored an article in the Retrofit Magazine November-December issue on Trivers’ award-winning atrium transformation at 100 N. Broadway office tower. Last month, Amanda also showcased her expertise as a distinguished panelist at the AIA St. Louis All-Gender Restroom Design Panel Discussion. Amanda was also a volunteer at the 27th Annual CREW-St. Louis Golf Classic in October.  

Joe Brinkmann, Aaron Church, Emily Flores and Ashley Hoolihan attended the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP) North Central 2023 Regional Conference where Ashley Hoolihan served as the Regional Conference Chair that took place in St. Louis October 16-18.  

Carmen Chee, Nakesha Newsome and Cameron Strickland attended the Chicago BUILD Expo in addition to virtually attending the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) National Conference, “Building Bridges Towards Just and Joyful Futures”.

Aaron Church, Shaun Dodson, Sam Lang, Josh Robertson and James Sgroi participated in the Perennial ReDesign Showcase, where artists reconstructed and redesigned discarded items found in St. Louis alleys.  

Sam Lang, James Roseberry and Ross Welch presented at Kansas State University’s Architecturally Speaking lecture series in October, engaging the audience through the presentation:  “Sustaining the Future | Adaptive Reuse as a Catalyst for Reinvention and Embodied Sustainability”.
