We place great importance on professional development for all our staff. Because we maintain a mid-size staffing level, Project Designers have ample opportunity to be involved in all aspects of project development and marketing efforts. We recognized the importance of each member of our team and therefore, seek to fill this position with individuals who are self-motivated and passionate about the architecture profession and the greater St. Louis community.
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in the architecture industry. Responsibilities will include collaborating with the project team to develop creative design and technical solutions, assisting in preparation of project documents, renderings, and models - both physical and electronic. Experience with Revit and Adobe Creative Suite are required, other 3D modeling software and AutoCAD experience preferred. Professional architecture degree required.

We recognize the importance of each member of our team and seek to fill this position with individuals who are self-motivated and passionate about the architecture and interior design profession as well as the greater St. Louis community.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in the architecture/interior design industry. This position will have an active role throughout all phases of the design process, from early programming and schematic design, construction documentation, and construction administration. Responsibilities will include assisting with compiling product data, selecting finish materials, furniture and accessories, producing project interior and furniture specifications, maintaining interior products library and setting up and attending product vendor presentations and library updates. Experience with Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or other modeling software is preferred. Professional interior design degree and previous internship or work experience at a professional design practice required.
Interns will have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of project development and become familiar with professional practice of a firm. We recognize the importance of each member of our team and therefore seek to fill this position with individuals who are self-motivated and care deeply about sustainability, community and the design profession.
The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a professional architecture degree at an NAAB accredited school or an interior design degree.
Responsibilities will include collaborating with the project team to develop creative design and technical solutions, assisting in preparation of project documents, presentation and study renderings, and aid in developing various firm and sustainable initiatives. Experience with Revit and Adobe Creative Suite are preferred but not required.

- Application Submission and Review: Applicants are encouraged to submit via on online email. Trivers members review materials received via email, weekly at minimum.
- First / Second Round Interview Stage: Interviews with qualifying candidates are arranged in person, preferably, or virtually if the candidate is located out of town. If the candidate is eligible for hire, a second interview is held with a different member of Ownership and a senior level staff member.
- Reference Checks: References are contacted prior to a job offer being presented to get a deeper understanding of candidate strengths and workstyles.
- Offer Decisions: Candidates that align with our team, values, and position requirements should expect a response from Trivers’ hiring committee within 1-2 weeks of the first or second interview. Start dates are typically flexible based on the candidate’s current employment status and other personal circumstances.
