Pinnacle Contracting Inc. has been chosen as construction manager for the renovation of the historic Steelcote Manufacturing Co. paint factory.
Developer Pier Property Group is converting the five-story, 42,000-square-foot Midtown building at 801 Edwin St. into lofts. Thirty-one lofts are planned for the main building, while a second adjoining building will hold two additional lofts, a leasing office and bicycle storage. Also planned is 15 indoor tempered parking spaces and exterior gated parking for guests. The $9 million project is slated for completion in the spring.
