We have had a busy first quarter, welcoming five new employees to the firm.

Madison Booher is a Project Architect with over five years of experience with educational, commercial and  hospitality projects. She attended Drury University’s School of Architecture and received minors in Entrepreneurship and Global Studies. Passionate about giving back to her community, Madison is committed to affecting change in the St. Louis region. Madison is a registered architect in Missouri, a regular platelet donor with the American Red Cross, and a member of the AIA St. Louis Community Engagement Committee.

Kara Brotherton is a Marketing Coordinator with more than 10 years of experience in marketing professional services at firms including GLM Architects in Edinburgh and SOM in San Francisco.  Her experience includes proposals, interviews, award submissions, website, social media management and event organization and promotion.  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville.

Huzefa Jawadwala is a Project Designer with experience in residential, hospitality and educational projects. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from NMIMS University in Mumbai, India and received his Master’s degrees in Architecture and Construction Management from Washington University in St. Louis. Huzefa has been featured in several publications including a submission to the 2021 ACSA Conference where he presented on Thermal Comfort : Radiant Systems.

Sam Lang joined Trivers as a Senior Interior Designer with more than 10 years of experience in higher education, civic, cultural and workplace design.  She is an NCIDQ certified Interior Designer who has worked on award-winning projects such as the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center and the Center of Creative Arts.  Sam received her Master of Interior Architecture and Product Design degree from Kansas State University.  She is a member of CREW and a volunteer for Home Sweet Home.

Christy Utlaut is a Senior Interior Designer with background in residential design, higher education and hospitality. She has 14 years of interior design experience in St. Louis and Columbia, including her personal residential interior design business. While earning her BS in human environmental sciences and architectural studies at the University of Missouri-Columbia, she worked on a variety of renovation projects including the historic Chancellor’s residence.  She also holds an Associate’s degree in interior design from St. Louis Community College.
