A real interest in improving people’s lives through the built environment drew Joe to the profession of architecture and continues to be his compass as a principal of the firm. With experience spanning roles from Construction Administrator to firm President, Joe brings a well-rounded perspective and hands-on insight to every phase of a project, from vision to execution. He is deeply committed to integrating sustainable strategies into the design process and has led numerous civic and higher education projects that reflect this ethos. Notable work includes the new Kentucky College of Optometry at the University of Pikeville and the historic renovation of the Hipolito F. Garcia Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse in San Antonio – the first LEED Platinum-certified building for the U.S. General Services Administration.
