Trivers was recently selected to renovate the west side of Noyes Laboratory at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. State of the art instructional laboratories and classrooms with support facilities for the School of Chemical Sciences will be designed in this historic structure, built in 1902. All existing classrooms and laboratories will be reconfigured to add flexibility while promoting active learning.

Life safety, deferred maintenance and HVAC improvements will also be made to these spaces. Exterior envelope and energy improvements are also part of the projects, which is planned to be LEED Silver at a minimum.
