The renovation of Nine PBS’s nearly 30-year-old headquarters reimagines how the station connects with and serves the St. Louis region. Once a traditional broadcast facility, the renewed building will become a state-of-the-art community media hub that is modern, welcoming, and adaptable to the ways people share and engage with stories today.
Designed to advance Nine PBS’s mission of strengthening the region through enriched multimedia content, expanded educational initiatives, and meaningful community dialogue, the project creates flexible spaces that invite the public in to participate and collaborate. From new technology infrastructure to inclusive gathering areas, every element supports connection for staff, visitors and the community.
Guided by Nine PBS’s belief that listening and storytelling can inspire understanding and spark change, the reimagined headquarters affirms St. Louis as a place where stories move us, ideas grow, and community thrives.
