McCormack Baron Salazar represents Trivers’ most historic client relationship and we are proud to be entrusted with reimaging their headquarters for a post-COVID return to the workplace. In 2009, Trivers designed the MBS’ offices with a focus on their commitment to be invested in downtown St. Louis at 720 Olive. Now, in 2021, we have re-engaged with their mission to restore the urban fabric of American cities with their move to 100 North Broadway

Broadway Tower, with its reimagined atrium façade structure, updated building standards, and enhanced tenant amenities package (also designed by Trivers), attracted MBS to continue their investment in downtown St. Louis. Trivers, also a tenant in the building, created the next generation of MBS’s outward expression and support a dynamically evolving workplace. Textures, warmth, and casual formality mark the central design elements with a special attention to leveraging technology and opportunities to collaborate in ways that are both flexible and adaptable to best connect with MBS’s offices nationwide.

Attention to sustainability, budget, and design make this an exceptional example of what’s possible within an early 1980’s era office tower.  Multiple design options allowed the client team to lean into what felt most like them and create a workplace that evoked their “serious but not formal” culture.
