On the campus of Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri, the 1963 Stedman Hall is approximately 49,000 square feet on four floors. The building will become a state of the art facility for the science and mathematics program.
The renovation includes movable teaching and learning classroom and laboratory spaces, science exhibit spaces, student-faculty research spaces, collaborative learning spaces, faculty offices adjacent to learning spaces, and with a modern design, including lecture/laboratory spaces able to hold 30 students. The renovation also will require HVAC, elevator and accessibility solutions.
Stedman Hall is a main walkway through campus, and the second floor has become a focal point of the campus experience.
