While we’ve been in a fully remote work environment since March, we have been fortunate to add talented new members to our team in both architecture and interior design.
Kelly Kirtland is an NCIDQ certified Interior Designer who joins us after nearly a decade of experience in South Florida. Her experience ranges from upscale multi-family housing to campus student housing, with a specialization in boutique hospitality design. While living in the Miami area, Kelly was an active member of IIDA as well as a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. Since relocating to St. Louis early this year, she has already engaged with ModernSTL and Urban Harvest STL. Kelly will be focusing most of her time on the 100 N. Broadway Building Improvements project.
Cameron Strickland is an Architectural Designer with experience in commercial, corporate, non-profit, and residential projects. He holds a Master of Architecture and minor of Community and Regional Planning from Kansas State University, where he served as Chapter President of KSU NOMAS and was a member of AIAS and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. He is a currently a member of AIA, NOMA, NCARB, and the Young Architects Forum as well as a volunteer with the ACE Mentorship Program. Since joining us this summer, Cameron has engaged on our Post-Dispatch Building and Delmar & Euclid Mixed-Use teams.
Erik Biggs is a licensed Project Architect who brings over 10 years of design experience to our team. He has worked on project types ranging from civic and cultural institutions to learning spaces and campus housing. During the final year of his Master of Architecture program at the University of Kansas, Erik completed the Studio 804 program; a comprehensive educational opportunity which engages students in a full-time design and construction project on a building of great technical sophistication. Erik is a Director on the Board of AIA St. Louis, AIA Missouri, and the Association for Preservation Technology – Central Plains. He also volunteers as a Speaker Facilitator for TEDx St. Louis. He has immediately joined our Missouri State Capitol Stone Restoration and Illinois Old State Capitol Historic Renovation teams.
