Excerpt from article posted in the St. Louis Business Journal featuring the renovation of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch building and the NOW Master Plan.
The redevelopment of the Post-Dispatch building is the first step in StarLake’s NOW Innovation District, which seeks to bring more jobs and economic growth to the area north of Washington Avenue.
The idea appears to build around viewing Square as a catalyst in much the same way it was for Cortex four years ago. Details are scant, though StarLake is working with St. Louis-based architecture firm Trivers on the NOW district’s master plan, which will identify what amenities will be needed and where. That plan will be developed along with and within Downtown STL’s new 10-year plan, which will outline what downtown will look like in 2030.
