Created on

The American Institute of Architects-St. Louis has recognized the Gateway Arch Museum with an Honor Award in the Architecture category.  Principal Joel Fuoss, AIA, received the award on behalf of the entire design team at the annual AIA St. Louis Design Awards, held on September 27th.

Trivers is proud to have served as Associate Architect on the new Museum, which re-opened on July 3rd.  Working with Cooper Robertson and James Carpenter Design Associates of New York, the new Museum was the centerpiece of the $380 million of the Arch grounds revitalization led by landscape firm Michael Van Valkenburgh to help to transform downtown St. Louis and its connection to the riverfront.  The effort, one of the largest P3 endeavors in the country, was spearheaded by the Gateway Arch Park Foundation www.archpark.org, led by Eric Moraczewski and Director of Construction Anna Leavey.

Besides Fuoss, fellow Principal Joe Brinkmann, AIA, Associate David Lott, AIA, and Project Architect Shaun Dodson, AIA were all integral team members for the nearly eight-year project for the firm.
