Carie Dunn served as a juror for the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Marketing Communication Awards, recognizing excellence in marketing strategies and design within the AEC industry.

Joel Fuoss presented The Reawakening of a Giant: The Butler Brothers Building Reimagined as part of the 2025 Landmarks Association Spring Lecture Series in April and co-led a guided Landmarks tour of The Victor with Martin Padilla on May 3. Joel also attended the 2025 AIA Conference on Architecture & Design in Boston where he joined Martin Padilla and James Roseberry in accepting the National Housing Award for The Victor.

Amy Gilbertson and Joel Fuoss joined IMEG’s “The Future Built Smarter” Housing and Historic Tax Credit podcast to discuss the firm’s approach to adaptive reuse and housing design. Listen to the episode here.

Maggie Hayden was appointed to the Tower Grove Park Membership Board, continuing her engagement in supporting the preservation and enhancement of this historic public space.

Martin Padilla was named a finalist for Business Person of the Year at the 2025 Adelante Awards, which recognize outstanding Hispanic leaders across the St. Louis region. At the AIA Conference on Architecture & Design in Boston, he participated on a national housing panel housing panel and joined colleagues in accepting the National Housing Award. In May, he also co-led a guided Landmarks Association tour of the project with Joel Fuoss.

Jesse Price passed the LEED Green Associate exam, demonstrating her commitment to sustainable design and supporting Trivers’ goal of having all designers LEED accredited.

James Roseberry presented Trivers’ renovation of January Hall at the Missouri Gateway Green Building Council’s annual Green Building Showcase, alongside Jim Kappeler of IMEG. He also traveled to Boston for the 2025 AIA Conference, where he joined Joel and Martin in accepting the National Housing Award for The Victor. In April, James participated in the 2025 Midwest Climate Summit in Madison, Wisconsin, hosted by the Midwest Climate Collaborative, which brings together institutions working to advance climate action in the region.

Amanda Truemper will present Bridging Diverse Needs Through Inclusive Restroom Design at the 2025 SCUP Annual Conference in Honolulu on July 12. She will be joined by Seb Choe of JSA/MIXdesign to explore how design can better accommodate a spectrum of user needs.

The Trivers team returned to Tower Grove Park this spring for the annual Plant It Forward volunteer event. Team members spent the morning clearing and maintaining garden beds to support the ongoing stewardship of the historic park.
