Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch

St. Louis, Missouri

Client: The Chartres Lodging Group, LLC

Size: 912,200 SF

Located adjacent to the National Monument Gateway Arch, Trivers designed the renovation of St. Louis’ Downtown Adam’s Mark hotel. The 910-room property was converted to the Hyatt St. Louis at the Arch in April 2008.

Chartres Lodging Group, LLC, of San Francisco, selected Trivers for services involving renovating guestrooms, converting additional guestrooms for disabled accessibility, kitchen and dining and redesigning public spaces at the ground floor and 18th floor to incorporate new guest amenities. The project took about 16 months to complete.

This is a significant hotel in the downtown St. Louis market, due to its size and location adjacent to the Arch grounds and the Old Courthouse. Chartres Lodging undertook the $65 million major renovation and brand conversion, which made the Hyatt Regency one of the premier convention and leisure hotels in the St. Louis region. Located in the shadow of the St. Louis Arch and within walking distance of all downtown convention facilities, sport complexes and many other local attractions, the hotel offers visitors a headquarters from which to explore all the fabulous amenities St. Louis has to offer.
