Originally designed for the Shriners' fraternal organization in 1912, the building was renovated to create a multi-use structure to add life to a stagnant area adjacent to the campus of Saint Louis University. By adding nearly 40 apartment units and converting the main auditorium into a boutique-type cinema along with a billiards and bowling lounge in the basement, the once quiet building has been injected with a continuous flow of energy.
